Spanish is my favorite subject to tutor but I also enjoy tutoring in history. I've worked in two high schools as a substitute Spanish 2, 3, and Spanish 3 Honors teacher and also provided home instruction to three students that missed extended periods of school because of injuries or illness. I've tutored at up to the Spanish 4 level. History might be my favorite tutoring subject. I'm a certified social studies teacher for grades 7-12 in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. For Spanish, I'm certified for grades K-12 instruction. I like tutoring history because I love American history and have traveled the U.S. extensively. Having visited all 50 states, I've seen many battlefields, monuments, museums, gravesites, and birthplaces and homes of presidents.As a tutor, I believe it's important to motivate and inspire. I think education is essential for one to find happiness and success in life. High-quality education can meet the needs of students who learn in various ways and I believe in pushing clients to work tirelessly in reaching their potential. I'm a devoted teacher and tutor, but do take my free time seriously by working out, taking long walks, running, biking, hiking, and swimming. Also, I enjoy kayaking, traveling, and listening to rock n' roll music.
